If only they would improve on the connectivity of the power cord

Graco certainly put a lot of features into this little machine! We bought it mainly for the white noise but there are also a few nature sounds, heartbeat, and you can plug your small mp3 player in at the bottom and use it as a speaker. Now this not being a stereo, the sound quality is not great and the volume is limited so I would not recommend using this as a mp3 speaker. As a white noise machine, there are two volume settings (soft and loud) and we put it on soft, at the highest volume. For those who also want a night light, there is a soft pleasant blue glow that you can turn on or off on the lid of the machine. It is also nice and compact, so you can bring it when you travel and it does not take up a large amount of space on our nightstand.

A common problem is that the connectivity of the power cord to the machine is very sensitive. Move it a little and the power cord falls out and we have to punch in our settings again. We have not had any problems with the cord falling out during the night as we are careful not to touch it again. The other annoying factor is that you punch in your setting with the buttons but if you overdo it (which is an easy mistake as there are no beeps to tell you if the buttons are activated) it "crashes" and you have to replug the power cord into the machine and start over.

So unless Greco comes out with an improved version of this machine, this one works pretty well if you can stand the annoyance factor of the power cord.

My grandson loves it! As soon as it came in, he helped open the box and
was so excited. Its exactly like his, plays music and has a night light.
We turn it on together when its time for his nap. It has the option to
play continuously and that's exactly what we want.

A must-have item for your nursery!

I purchased this sound machine because it has an optional timer, night light, and variable sounds like nature, thunderstorms, classical music, and womb(!). We've used it for 2 months now, starting when our daughter was 12 weeks. She has a sound night's sleep with it running and we don't have to worry about noises like our dogs barking or TV waking her up. The blue night light on top is an added bonus. It provides enough light to change a diaper during the night without being too stimulating on the baby's eyes. I'd recommend this item to any new parent.

This is a great product! My kids like the music but don't want to listen to it at night so my husband and I put it in our room for the white noise feature (we like the one with the crickets.) My kids play the music when they are playing in my room while we are doing baths or laundry or something. Love the auto-off timer and volume control. Really good buy!
